Tuesday news
Not that I really have news to post ... just wanted to let everyone know that a lot of my energy has returned & the swelling in my face has come down a lot. The lymph node that was hard & swollen to the size of a walnut, is down to small hazelnut now. The numbness in my lip & cheek has faded quite a bit well (whew). I hope I get a good report on Friday when I see the doctor for visit #16 (or 17, but who is counting?). I really appreciate all the well wishes & good thoughts & healing energy!
For dinner last night, Brian cooked some BBQ pork ribs on the grill. Unfortunately, he got a little distracted by EverQuest & burnt half of them into charcoal. Chivalry is not dead (or guilt) because whenever Brian burns dinner, he eats the burnt stuff & saves the edible stuff for me.
Pssst! Honey? Cooking is usually one of those activities where you must be an active participant. =)
I need to start getting ready for my Vegas trip next week. I've not flown since pre-9-11. I'm not even sure what documentation I have to bring or just how much time to allow before my flight. Any of my traveling friends care to offer some pointers for flying nowadays? Thanks in advance!
