For Valentine's Day, I had these four little cards for daecabhir and I planted them in various places. One was in lunch box in place of my usual note. I stuck another one in his phone case and one in the dashboard of the Prius (which he didn't see until he was pulling out of the driveway ... the sound of his laugh was wonderful). The last one, I managed to slip into the Hallmark bag that I knew contained my card (I didn't peek), and he, of course, found it when he went to sign my card.

Since we went to brunch at Clearwater Grill on Sunday to celebrate, our Valentine's dinner was on me. Our menu was sauteed faux beef tips, pumpkin-potato soup and broccoli-cheese casserole. We had a candlelight dinner and danced afterward to Dave Matthews Band's Crash.

I have the most wonderful Valentine!
