All done
Thanks to Mom, all the deer meat is in the freezer! What a big help!
The ex made some of his deer-vegetable soup for dinner ... I am really happy that we had some leftover beef stew for me to eat. I'm glad the ex cooks the soup - which he really likes because it is how his mom used to make it - I just can't always eat it & this batch was in that category.
In the good news department: I'm back in touch with Karen, my old boss from AKA. Several attempts to contact her had fallen flat & I was afraid that she had put me away with the bad memories & karma of AKA. Turns out she did have a hard time getting over what they did to us, but she is in a much happier place now, both emotionally & professionally. Thanks go to my "soul sister" Michelle, another AKA-ite.
