HSH
HSH = Home Sweet Home!
Wowzer! It feels great to be back home & I can't wait to sleep in my own bed again. The fact that Brian will be in it too is a bonus.
The trade show that I attended was HUGE. Someone mentioned that there were close to 2,000 vendors there! I think I spoke with about 3/4 of them! Since it would take me a week to tell you about the whole experience, here are some random thoughts from my journey.

- Flight out ... 2 hour delay.
- A Barry Manilow store in the Hilton that I stayed in. Barry Manilow EVERYTHING ... including Barry Manilow bottled water. Yes, you read that correctly.
- Three people shot in front Harrah's the morning I left.
- Outrageous food prices
- $7.10 for ONE pack of Marlboro's (no, I haven't started smoking).
- A DOUBLE rainbow that was breathtaking!
- Having one of the assistant store managers call to check up on me every day (in a good way).
- Eggs Benedict!
- Free samples.
- Having the airport take some of the above free samples out of my suitcase.
- Flight home ... 1 hour delay.
- Staying on east coast time which meant I was in bed around 8:30 pm & up at 3:30 am.
- Gambling a whopping $5.00 & it wasn't even my money.
- Hilton's Star Trek-based casino & cafe.
- Antique Roadshow on Saturday.
- The L O N G walk to the trade show.
- The L O N G walk back to the hotel.
- Paying $5 for a snack box on a plane & being grateful.
- Wheeling & dealing with vendors.
- Getting to tell folks that I bought a pallet of chainsaws. (Just sounds cool!)
