Weekend update
Saturday was youth turkey day here in VA & The ex took our nephew, William, out in the woods. Will is young & did not take a gun but just the chance to get decked out in his camo & go into the woods was still fun. The guys did not see or hear a thing, but Will said the ex did take a nap.
While the ex took another nap after returning from the big hunting trip, Will & I took Tucker for a walk out behind the house. We walked back to the small pond, threw sticks for Tucker & looked for tadpoles. While Will wanted to go swimming, it was Tucker that I was hoping would end up a little wet.
It took quite a while, but Tucker did indeed wind up in the water on his accord & actually swam a tiny bit. Hopefully he is on his way to learning water is not so scary after all.
