dreamtigress in town, we went our for lunch & a movie. Unfortunately we learned (as we pulled into the parking lot) that Carrabbas was not open for lunch on a Saturday. We ended up at Ryan's, an all-you-can-eat buffet place that has steak. Not quite the yummyness I had been dreaming of, but we all left with full tummies.
Even though I had said that I could really wait until it came out to DVD, we went to see the new Star Trek movie. I, obviously, am not a Trekkie. The original series is the only one I really watched, as well as a few of the movies. About all I can say is WOW. The new movie pretty much blows the old ones out of the water. Bones & Scotty steal the show, IMHO. It should come as no surprise that they left this new franchise wide open to sequels.
