Snap, crackle, pop, smush & woof!
Visit #3 to the chiropractor today. He seems pleased with my progress & I let him know about the Volteran issues. He'd like to see me again next week. So far he has just cracked both sides of my lower back each time. It doesn't really hurt & he's funny to chat with.
After today's cracking, I had arranged to have my mammogram done. I would say my yearly mammogram, but I skipped last year. After getting my chest squished it was time to head for home.
The trip was uneventful except for a little hitchhiker that I stopped to pick up. Right past the Richardsville "city limit" there was a dog in the road. A smallish Pit Bull. I turned around & stopped (I AM my Mother's daughter). She was a little scared at first, but once she came up to me & figured out I was harmless, she followed me to the Endeavor & jumped like she owned it.
Our little guest is the color dark chocolate with some white markings & has no collar or tattoos. Her coat is very shiny & she seems in good health & to be well taken care of. I called animal control to see if anyone has reported her missing (not yet) & left my name & number with them. The gal that answered the phone seem surprised that I was willing to hang on to a Pit Bull.
After introducing her to both Tucker & Cooper, she's been in the house with me all afternoon & evening. She's a sweetie for sure. Watching her play with the boys has been fun ... if not a three ring circus.
Health-wise, my throat is less sore & there are no new hives. yay!
