Bloody hell! For the second time in recent history LJ has eaten my post so here goes from memory. Of course, I would like to tell you that I had written the most amazing stuff, but it was just my typical blathering balderdash.
Brian and I went hunting this morning - opening day of muzzleloader. We did not see a single deer! Walking to the treestand I flushed two turkeys though and they hung around and made a LOT of noise calling to one another. They clucked and chirped for over a half hour - the nosiest turkeys I have ever heard in the woods.
Brian's buddy Dick shot a spike and gave it to us so we will will have some venison for the freezer.

Southern Comfort Vanilla Spice Egg Nog. It is not spicy at all and perfect when blended with my calorie countdown milk. YUM!
