One day!

One day until daecabhir and I are together again. I'll be driving up to Charm City tomorrow after dropping the dogs off at Mom's. We have a whirlwind of events planned for the weekend and I hope Mother Nature cooperates with us for the most part since we will be on the road a lot.

Today's frustration came from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Despite having an awesome electronic means to file state income tax, the state legislature did away with it and the new system is seriously flawed (and looks like it was thrown together at the last possible moment). In all likelihood, I will be sending in a paper return this year. Once again the folks in Richmond are asleep at the wheel.

Since I could not stand my shaggy 'do anymore, I trekked to Locust Grove for a haircut. I've not washed it yet, but it seems like just an okay cut. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised after a shampoo and blow dry of my own.

Writer's Block: The name game

Bikher has been the license plate on my various motorcycles since 1992. The plate has won a contest and been featured in Easy Rider magazine.

I coined the term so that folks would know that they are dealing with a lady biker.

And I wouldn't change it for the world.
