Master bathroom demolition is underway!
One of the contractors was here bright and early to start the demo process in the master bathroom shower. In addition to the known issues with the shower, during the demo process we learned that the old durarock had been nailed in with regular nails which is a no-no - any that were exposed to wetness are rusted. The new bathroom will be lined with Hardy board which is much-preferred over durarock and it will be put in place with treated fasteners.
