Bye bye studio

My pottery studio is gone! Construction begins tomorrow so everything is moved out of the space except for the sink. It's kind of weird not having my studio there - even if it is only for a short while. Many thanks to njzoomom and Wilma for their help in emptying the space.

While they were here, I opened up the kiln's last glaze fire in the 'old' studio. While nothing blew up, the custom pieces that I had created for Liz and Henry were a huge disappointment; I'll need to re-do them once the studio is back in place. Oy! I am beginning to understand why some potters do not take custom orders.
