The second of three holiday gatherings

daecabhir and I traveled to Maryland today to celebrate xmas with his family; we also brought the puppy-yet-to-be-named with us. Although he made it through the night without an accident (many thanks to njzoomom for bringing us a smaller crate) we thought it would be safer to keep him under a close eye.

It was so nice to spend some time with the Messick and Nguyen clan. We only get to see them a few times a year so it's always nice to catch up and enjoy the kids.

The puppy-yet-to-be-named did very well on the car ride - the only incident was him puking as we turned into the driveway when we got there. He was a very well-behaved boy the entire time, spending about a good portion of his time our of the crate (but on a leash).
