SHIT update
SHIT = So Happy It's Thursday (btw)
The practice room now has a spiffy new curtain rod and the start of curtains (another trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond is in store). The curtains have also been hung in the living room (the navy tab ones from the city home's bedroom).
Major frustration came our way from Let's Talk (www.letstalk.com) yesterday when we tried to get a new smartphone and a change to the Verizon plan. Long story short, the Let's Talk representative lied to me in order to make the sale. After having dealt with Let's Talk off and on for many years, I am very angry and disappointed.
In contrast, we had a lovely dining experience at Carrabba's in Fredericksburg. I've become fond of one of their seasonal dishes - Parmesan-crusted chicken breast and we both really enjoy the fried zucchini appetizer.
Today was apparently "caterpillar day" here at the country home - with three sightings in the morning. Number one was a HUGE (as big as my thumb) ugly-as-sin slug-like crawlie that was dark green with black spikes. Number two was a naked, pink-bellied worm-like crawlie that was hanging off the house. Number three was 'just' a woolie caterpillar. Eww. Eww. Eww.
