Undercover Swine
Left to his own devices for dinner this evening, the ex concocted his very own very of "pigs in a blanket". Starting with polish sausage dogs, he wrapped them in garlic-herb pizza dough & baked until golden brown.
Since they are a super-sized version of the typical cocktail version, he dubbed them hogs in blanket.
Sadly, I have not yet gotten to shoot my Kimber yet. Turns out .260 ammo is rather pricey at Gander Mountain, and while I did buy a box, I ended up coming home & taking a nap when we got home yesterday. I did locate the manual for the gun online & read through it; this is my first bolt action rifle so I really wanted to read up on it.
The ex found a great video on You Tube about Kimber rifles (probably a hunting show clip or something) that explained a lot about the company & their rifles.

Gonna have to go get a deer with that 'new' rifle of yours ;-)
lets see,, two hunters,, many hunting rifles,, and bows,,, should equal many deer in freezer, not to mention turkeys, and little critters.
