Mom went to Fredericksburg with me today for my doctor's appointment & a little shopping. It was nice to get out with just her & I hope I did not run her too ragged.
Steve (the PA who has been handling my shots) says I am improving & need to come back for one more treatment. Seems the muscles in my lower back were so tight that I was not even feeling some of the sensation I should have been. This time I felt tingles as he did the injections (which is apparently a good thing).
Once I was properly shot up, we headed to a few clothing stores since I had a pretty killer coupon from Lane Bryant. (Turns out Dress Barn & Catherine's is right around the corner - how convenient!)
We found 3 really nice blouses for Mom that look great on her. Talking my Mother into buying clothes is somewhat akin to talking a kid into bedtime. As for me, I came home with 2 pairs of [desperately needed] jeans, a really fun blouse that combines paisley, plaid & sparkles [trust me, it works], 2 bras & a really pretty ankle-length dress.
Hmmm, now I need a pair of sandals...
Thanks to Mom for being a wonderful sport ... she even used a dressing room as a hideout/phone booth.
After clothes shopping, we had Chinese for lunch & did a little grocery shopping on the way home. Pulling into the driveway we were pleasantly surprised by the sight of Brian washing both his truck & Mom's van. Seizing the opportunity, I pulled the Endeavor right up in line & it got a bath too. Thanks B!
