After putting the end table together & playing with the living room furniture arrangement a bit, I realized exactly what I wanted to do. This, however, required buying another end table.
A quick call to Brian to get his blessing, then getting in touch with Mom who was near Aldi's (plus the funny side conversation with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dreamtigress ) yielded a second end table. Thanks Mom!
For the record, the end table went together VERY well & came with clear instructions with no Engrish. The company that made they furniture is Linon & I would buy more of their stuff. Once together, the table is quite solid; you not guess it was a do it yourself piece.
