An old journal

While going through some boxes in preparation for the onehouse [TM], I came across a handwritten journal that kept during a creative writing class while attending NVCC. I'm going to attempt to enter here in my LJ under the original dates. (These entries pre-date my LJ's beginnings.)

Raining inside

Seems the roof leaking issue just got escalated to priority status. Went downstairs to fetch a few things and saw two puddles on the floor. It _may_ just be water coming in around the flashing since the water is finding its way through the ways on pipes, but we'll need an expert to come and scope it out.

Crappity.

My check before posting here revealed one of the two new leaks has pretty much stopped with the other still dripping slowly. Due to the sheer force of the wind we had today, a small amount of wetness seeped in around the basement door.

In other "WTF" news, try as I might I could not get the mirror that matches the dresser I am borrowing from Mom to actually go on the dresser. After two attempts failed with the mirror (which weighs approximately 413 pounds) I gave up and put the mirror from my old dresser back on it.
