Busy day was busy
March 5th, 2011 11:12 pmWhile
daecabhir was in Charm City celebrating Shambhala Day at the center I was here at the country home going through some ritualistic cleansing exercises. Mostly in the form of going through boxes and drawers of stuff that needed to be sorted through. Lots of junk purged, stacks of stuff filed and things earmarked for friends (and the ex in some cases).
Some of the things I came across were simply amazing ... photos that I thought were lost, several little mementos, some wall art and various bits of my personal history from the last twenty years.
Clean up efforts were not limited to inside the house. Since it ended up being far too windy for me to burn some leaves, I decided to tackle two downed beech tree. Using the hand saw I was able to cut the saplings into usable fire wood for next season. The yard could really use some TLC this spring - from leave removal, branch pick, mulching and more. I just hope that I have time to get to it all.
Tucker has come to fetch me ... letting me know that it is time to crawl into bed. Ciao!
