Cinco de Mayo Dia (SOS)

We've had rain for a few days now & when I came in yesterday morning, part of my garden was underwater!  Since the work day was nuts & I had a lunch date, it was not until after work that I could get out to save my little patch of garden.  Some of my squash were underwater so I used my hoe & tried to create some drainage ditches.

Of course, as I am hacking away out there, who comes along but our GM.

"Making some drainage ditches, are we?"

OY!

Paul asked me if this was too much rain for my garden, but since I'm doing raised beds, its no problemo. Actually the main reason for raised beds is the fact that our soil is soooo rocky, hard and crappy, it's just easier to put the garden on top :)
