Saturday Silliness
Much to my surprise, it is raining AGAIN. Rain has become our new default weather here in VA. I poked my head out to watch it rain for a bit but found things to be rather steamy so I did not stay long.
Working on my resume has been my chore for much of yesterday & this morning. Any of you masochists out there that want to take a peek & give me some feedback, just let me know & I'll email a copy to you.
Since I never got around to doing to any of the fill-in posts, here's a few up-datey things...
While Brian's doctor can't seem to tell him that he's a diabetic, the pharmacist at Wahlgreens had no qualms about spelling things out clearly for us. Brian has been put on medicine to treat diabetes therefore he IS a diabetic. Hopefully this is the wake-up call Brian needs to start taking care of himself. Tony the Wahlgreens pharmacist is my new hero. He's not bad looking either. LOL
Our plot & a half at the Culpeper Community Garden will remains ours. I went out last Sunday to do some weeding & what-not. I also planted 4 more tomato plants that one of the guys at the fertilizer plant had given me. Sundays will most likely become my garden day because I would prefer not to be around CFC when its open for business. Go figure.
It dawned on me that I stay out of work until my benefits run out, I will get to bow hunt every day!
The response from some of the people I used to work with has been wonderful & humbling. It feels awfully nice nice to know that I made such an impact on folks.
