Whoosh!

Today was a big old whirlwind of a day that found me in Fredericksburg for _all_ of the errands.

• Dropped off two packages at USPS. Yay for more stuff leaving the house.
• Picked up my order at JC Penney. Sadly the capris were not going to work but I found some other goodies.
• Got the oil changed and tired rotated on the Prius.
• Enjoyed lunch at Ruby Tuesday and even ordered my own berry tea. (Normally, I steal sips from daecabhir's.)
• Grocery shopped at Wegman's
• Did some more grocery shopping at BJs and renewed our membership. This means njzoomom is 'off the hook'.
• Picked up dog food for the puppies.
• Got a hair cut. Virtually all of the artificial color is now off my head and what you see is really me. Seems the new do and look is husband-approved. Although - sweet man that he is - pointed out that my gray hair is somewhat at odds with my face which does not have too many wrinkles yet. (Well, he said it a bit more eloquently.)

Of course, once I got home, I had a lot of groceries to put away, dogs to take care of, dinner to make, vegetables to prep and cook for tomorrow, a bit of sewing to get done, a few business details to work on and a ninja project for my honey to get done.

And - whoosh - I am off to bed!

I've also had people say that I don't look my age due to smooth skin. Most keep thinking I'm somewhere in my lower to mid 30s, at least 10 years younger than I am. I don't have a ~lot~ of grey/silver in my hair yet, but I do have an increasing chock of it at the front, above my right eye. Not to mention the increasing number of white eyebrow hairs, which drive me nuts!

Anyway, grey/silver hair has always be beautiful in my eyes.
