Everything is still white
The temperature was a whopping ten degrees when I woke this morning. That is some kind of cold! This afternoon a very kind neighbor came with a tractor and cleared enough of a path for me to get out of one side of my driveway. During the day the temperature rose to above freezing giving us a respite from the bitter cold. The sky was SO blue again and very pretty. Seems we are due for more snow tomorrow. UGH!
We had two fatalities yesterday ...
A bird flew into the sliding glass door so hard, it knocked itself out (literally). I hoped the little guy would come around, but no such luck. He hit the door so hard, the thunk woke me up from a nap and he was upside down in the snow buried so that all I saw was feet and part of it's tail.
Death number two was a mouse that must have liked the peanut butter that I put on the mousetrap in the garage. We have five acres that they can live on. My garage and house are off-limits.
Still waiting on the settlement agreement to come in from my lawyer. At this point it is like a watched pot!
Treadmill = zero (Doctor's orders!)
