Both the federal and state income tax refunds are in! Among other things these funds will pay for the divorce.
While everything is still covered with white, I can tell that there has been a few inches of snow melted by where the snow comes to on Tucker.
Made two trips out to the mailbox today. Once with my walking stick and again with a shovel. I was able to twist the box around facing the road again as well as bend things a bit so the door sort of closes. VDOT surprised the heck out of me with a VERY fast response that they would look into the matter. (Since I am pretty sure the damage was done by one of their trucks.)
Made lots of phone calls today ... Sprint about splitting off my cell phone from the ex's, vehicle insurance, mortgage options with our current lender, etc. Between not hearing anything back from lawyer yet and the weather situation, it does not seem that the 15th move out date will happen. Hopefully things will stay civil and we can make arrangements that work for us both.
More snow is due to start anytime now. They say this snow will be much heavier and wetter than that of a few days ago; high winds are also expected. Two loads of wood are already by the wood stove, an extra loaf of bread is in the machine baking and the dishes are done - just in case we lose power again.
Treadmill = zero (Doctor's orders!)
