Job mojo

My interview at ABR went very well. The owner of the company knows she wants to use me in management but is just not sure how yet (she's working on it). She also bribed me with a dragonfly vase for my new office.

What's the catch?

ABR is located in Woodbridge and the drive is about an hour and 45 minutes away without traffic.

My task is to come up with hours, days in the office, etc. that will make taking on a job with ABR worth it. There are currently two folks there that do the long distance commute; one comes in very early to beat at least one rush hour while the other telecommutes two days a week.

All in all, a good interview that ran two and half hours!

When I got home, not only did I have two dogs that were happy to see me, but also a message regarding a marketing manager job that I had applied for in Warrenton. I did a pre-screening with the hiring agency and now my resume will be passed on to the company.

Because some rain was due this evening, I decided to transplant a few cedar trees. An entire bumper crop of them have popped in an odd spot in the yard and I would like to use them as a windbreak/privacy barrier on my south property line. I managed to get 4 little cedars up and replanted. I hope they do well there. Once it is a little cooler I would like to transplant a lot more.

Treadmill = zero (heel pain and slacking)

The ex sent an email to inform me that he has an appointment with his lawyer on Tuesday. He says it is to sign the agreement. I would like to believe that he will do that but at this point I no longer trust him at all. He also asked about the scope he put on my Kimber rifle for me (which I thought was a gift). The underlying insinuation is that he would like it back. I, of course, cannot respond because he told me not to email him unless it was about the separation agreement.
