Good stuff
Made some more headway in the front yard today. Many wheelbarrows full of leaves, sticks and rotting fallen tree taken away. This evening I burned some of the same to save a little work. The dogs enjoyed being outside with me while I worked (they did not help!).
The agency that is handling the job in Warrenton contacted me late this afternoon - they want me in for an interview this week. YAY!
Thanks to Mom, Tucker and Duchess are on cough medicine and antibiotics for the kennel crud. Mom and Wilma stayed for dinner; it was nice to have the company. I had made a huge cheesy chicken casserole that came out okay (even the chicken was a bit overcooked).
Keeping my fingers crossed - tomorrow is the day that the ex is going to his lawyer and (hopefully) sign the settlement agreement finally. Of course, my attorney will not have it back for several days since the other lawyer only seems to communicate by snail mail.
In thinking through the great shower-head swap of 2010, I came to the conclusion that I really can't change them around like I had intended, so I came up with a plan B which is nice because it involves less work. Hopefully the new arrangement will work out nicely.
The three fig tree cuttings are potted for now and in a sunny spot. Maybe I will get lucky and they will start growing.
