Me again

Seems the update fairy has been slacking off.

June 23rd marked 8 months of shiny adorkable duo. We're still shiny, adorkable and very much in love.

June 25th found daecabhir and I spending some quality time with 1painter42 and her hubby, Paul.  Mother Nature cooperated beautifully with our plans of a cook out and we shared much yummy food and laughs - as always. For dessert, I tried a new recipe for an upside down spiced pear cake and it turned out to be very yummy.

In other news ...

The practice room is fully prepped and ready for paint. Painting would have started today except there were no paint rollers to be found. Seems a certain ex-husband must have helped himself to them when he vacated the premises. No worries, Home Depot has more!

There is a spiffy new white board in the office because daecabhir thinks better with white boards.

Tomorrow I will be trying to find good spots to plant the two hostas that 1painter42 sent us home with. Most likely, they will be planted close to the house so that the deer do not think that I have planted more things for them to munch on.
