pandasheart | Where did October go?

Seriously, the month is almost gone and I have no idea of where it went. Okay, the last few days were a marvelous blur of shiny but still. hehe

It was far too windy to hunt this afternoon so I chose to get some errands done, a few things around the house accomplished and still manage not to rush anything. Among some of what got done:

Checked on the cedar trees that I planted in the spring. All but one of them survived. (This means that I need to transplant more of them!)
Filed my name change with Social Security and VA DMV. In the name of security they no longer give you the replacement cards at the location. Instead they snail mail them to you. As someone who has done a lot business with USPS over the years, I find this to be hysterical.
Picked up the dogs from Mom's and had a nice lunch with she and Wilma.
Swept several rooms in the house and ended up with enough hair to stuff a small pillow. Duchess seems to be stuck in shed mode!
Applied for a few jobs including a court clerk gig and marketing for a local parks and recreation department.

Hunting may be on the itinerary for tomorrow but certainly not in the morning. We are under a frost warning and there is a very possibility that the mercury will dip below freezing here. yikers!

Got to talk with my panda both late last night and this morning. He's awesome and I am lucky.
