Creative writing journal, entry 6

JC called today and we talked for an hour. He seems to be doing well. He expressed a concern that his letter might have offended me. I told him no - that the letter was a much needed catharsis for him. Things are going well with his new roommate, Jim. This makes me glad for him for two main reasons:  1) He needs help with the rent and expenses.  2) He really needs some friends.

He expressed a renewed interest in wicca/witchcraft and admitted that his head was not in the right place earlier. This is true.

He invited me to come to Wellington's for dinner - possibly bringing John and Jonnie. He is very proud of his new position and I am proud for him as well. I mentioned to him that I would like to bring Melody, so that they could meet. He had a bit of an odd reaction, which intrigues me...

The date with Doug went well and I look forward to seeing him again.
