Rainy Friday stuff
October 21st, 2005 12:39 pmBeen battling a cold or some funk for most of the week. Today finds me feeling pretty good... just a mild throat thing that has gone away as the day gets longer. I have been chanting, "I will will not be sick" all week not only because I simply do not care to be sick but also because I want to go the MD Ren Faire one more time.
I can't wait for next weekend! We are trekking down to NC to see our friends from the beach trip. A little vacation in the middle of craziness is always a good thing! That reminds me that I have not yet asked for directions...
Our plans for this weekend:
Hopefully the rain goes away enough on Saturday so that we can shoot our muzzle loaders to get ready for hunting season. I will have to shoot my Knight a bunch in order to sight it in with the new scope. Watch out white tails! I've saved 9 days of vacation up to take for hunting & can't wait to hit the woods.
Saturday will also serve as housecleaning day, quality time with the puppies day, play some EQ day & hopefully Brian will get to bow hunt in the evening.
Sunday - as long as I am healthy - I plan to attend the last day of the MDRF & have fun with my sis. Brian will spend the day helping his brother with exciting things like drywall & such.

Is it OK to strangle a co-worker if she is clueless?
We have a new employee who is a nice enough person, but she does not seem to pick up on things very well. She tends to barge into my office with questions or what-not regardless of the fact that I may be on the phone, eating, in the middle of something or have asked her to wait one moment before I can give her my attention. I don't think I have closed my door so much in the previous year as I have done in the past month.
Ah well, thanks for listening. I feel a little better now.
