Thursday tete-a-tete
October 27th, 2005 03:20 pmIt's Thursday. Not quite Friday... but getting closer.
For the 3rd day in a row now, I have planned to leave the office early in order to bring my SUV to the dealership so that they can put a part on that they *somehow* neglect to replace the last time it was there. We also need puppy food for the puppy with no name.
It sounds so easy... just leave the office early. While I have everything that I am responsible pretty much under control (enough to leave anyhow) I am stuck waiting on other people once again. Seems that a sense of urgency is hard to impress on folks.
I miss manicures. I miss my long nails. I've been trying to figure out a way that I would be able to afford having my nails done again but so far have come up empty handed. At the moment, I actually have nails worthy of going to the salon.
Saturday we will be headed to North Carolina for a Halloween party - I am so excited! Of course, I am still not sure if I will be in some sort of costume yet but I know we will have fun no matter. It's been just over a month since the beach trip but I miss the folks already.
Every time I think I am over the "grumpies" that have hit over the past few days, they come back. I think Brian is pretty sick of it too. LOL
