Good news!
August 11th, 2006 03:30 pmAfter a bit of back & forth with the Dodge dealer in North Carolina, we have determined that Daimler-Chrysler will not repair the transmission under warranty due to the ex's "failure" to maintain some service ritual not outlined in the owner's manual. However ... the extended warranty that he purchased via his credit union WILL cover the full cost with no deductible! WOOT!
Parts will not be in until next week & as of right now we don't know when it will be done.
Good news just the same. We were sweating the potential of a $3,000 repair bill.
Speaking of money, it dawned on me this morning that our yummy dinner last night was virtually free. We enjoyed elk burgers (compliments of Uncle Donnie), corn on the cob (compliments of a co-worker) & tomato salad (compliments of same co-worker).
The ex will probably be off helping his brother again at least one of the two weekend days, which gives me some time by myself again. I have a "to do" list running in my head for everything that I would like to get done ... not that that's anything new. LOL
