Lots of thanks...

What a great Thanksgiving we have had this year! We hosted my Mom, Chuck, Tiger, Gumby, Art, Kathleen & Ed for dinner. In the beginning, we weren't sure if we'd end up doing Turkey Day every year or not, but it seems that it has been going that way, which is just fine with us.

The menu this year consisted of: wild turkey (compliments of Brian), ham (compliments of Chuck, although he did not have to shoot anything to get it), green bean casserole, corn pudding, homemade stuffing, gravy, both kinds of cranberry sauce, candied sweet potatoes & cole slaw. The table was so full!

Desert seemed to have its own menu with apple pie, 2 kinds of pumpkin pie (regular & sugar-free), pumpkin-cheese cake (also sugar free), mango pie, pecan-cranberry pie & egg custard pie. All served with liberal amounts of whipped cream ~ of course! Mom did a lot of pie experiments & we were happy to try them all!

We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone. Art & Kathleen are staying through Sunday with us, which is always a treat.
