Saturday Stuff
January 13th, 2007 08:38 pmBrian made pancakes for breakfast. They were a little burnt tasting, but he gets an "A" for effort. He even got most of the dirty dishes in the sink afterwards. Thanks to Mom's attempt at making sugar-free blackberry jelly, we had a yummy topping for the whole wheat pancakes ... which also helped with the burnt taste.
Brian & I went hunting at his buddy's Chopper's house which is in Prince William County; one of three counties with the extended deer season this year. I saw lots of deer, unfortunately, I did not have at a shot at any of them! The whitetail are taunting me this year. First bunch I saw was a group of 5-6 jogging through some thick brush - all I really got to see was their white tails bouncing along. About two minutes after they passed, another 3-4 came through - same speed, same view. Half hour later, one go the other way on the same trail, but no clean shot.
