What is my what?
March 8th, 2007 01:13 pmThe phone rang yesterday & it was a lady from the center that I will be having a sleep study done at the end of the month. I've had the appointment for about two weeks now, but she was calling to "pre-register" me. Among the verification of information that I had already given & a few new questions, she asked, "What is your rate?"
"My rate?"
"Yes," she says, "your rate! What is your rate?"
Rather puzzled, I told her that I did not have a clue. I've only been on Brian's insurance for a short time & how do I know what they will charge me.
"Rate?" I asked again.
"YES! You know ... black or white or whatever!"
OH! That rate! Silly me.
Since she couldn't tell me why they need to know this information, I let her know that I am white but that I didn't think that was the cause of my sleep issues.
