The Monday catch-up
March 26th, 2007 10:31 amFriday's interview at the co-op went well, although I don't think I am really what they are looking for. They love the gal that is doing the job now (she is leaving on good terms to play with her horses full time) & will probably take at least 2 weeks to replace her. The job would be full of fun challenges though if it comes to fruition.
Once the interview ended, I rushed back home to pack for our weekend & gather up dogs to deliver to Mom's. After making sure every one was safely tucked away, I dashed off to meet Brian in Gainesville so we could head to PA.
Our visit in PA was wonderful! Many - MANY - thanks to our hosts. Awesome food, great chat, one of the funniest movies on the planet (Short Bus), a pristine hot tub & a trip Cabela's! How is that for fun!?!
Cabela's is HUGE! I don't mean large; I mean freaking HUGE! It has an aquarium & a restaurant in addition to all the gear they are famous for. With the gift card that we received as a wedding present we chose a really gorgeous horse head statue. Now to make room on the mantle for it!
We also made a side trip to a smaller stand alone hunting goods store named Shyda's. Very nice place with fair pricing. Come to find out it is a woman-owned business. How cool is that!
