Movies & Fried Chicken!
May 26th, 2007 10:11 pmAfter serving everyone a late breakfast, we headed to Fredericksburg to the theater. We had planned to see the new Spiderman movie, but our timing was a bit off. Since Pirates of the Caribbean 3 was our second choice, off we went. Not only did the movie break twice (at least 20 minutes of down time) PotC3 was a HUGE letdown! Confusing, not very funny & very drawn out without much purpose.
Due to the movie interruption, we were given free movie tickets by the manager & since we were so cool, he gave us double! We plan on going back tomorrow for a double feature on the house. Hopefully there is another worthwhile movie besides Spiderman.
After the movie, we hit our very own Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department for their wonderful fried chicken dinner. When we had our full - and then some - we came home, played with puppies & watched "A Night at the Museum" with Ben Stiller (at least that is what I think the title is). It was OK - campy, but after sitting for 3 hours in a movie theater already & begin stuffed full of fried chicken, it was just fine.
