Welcome to Wednesday
September 5th, 2007 09:00 pmYesterday found me completing a ton of little projects that I had put off last week. & today was more of the same, although I kicked into a slower gear after my computer needed 3 or 4 reboots to load Outlook & I had a 9 am off-site meeting. Still got a lot done, even a few things for myself like appealing the co-payment on my second sleep study & other nonsense.
One bit of nonsense was making a call to North Carolina & finding out that the stylist that cut my hair a year ago is still at the salon & had a spot for me on Wednesday. I am pretty jazzed since this will be the first professional haircut for me since she cut it last time. Sounds silly that something so mundane as a haircut could be a treat, but I guess I am silly.
Also in the silly department is me trying to figure out whether or not to try to get my nails done again. At the moment I actually have nails worth bothering with since I could not chew them when I was recovering from my bout with oral surgery. Of course, if Brian would give up his nasty cigar habit & convenience store stops, there'd be plenty of cash for me to have pretty nails. I did learn of what is supposed to be a nice shop on the other side of the town I work in if I decide to make the plunge.
Decisions, decisions.
Speaking of decisions, I am toying with selling my GoldWing. My knees just don't like the riding position of the 1800 & I don't ride much anymore, even when the bike is free for me to do so. I'm not sure if I would trade it on or something else or just sell it out right & see if the right bike comes along. The temptation of trying out a Victory has gotten harder since the local dealer has closed his doors. Of course, coming into fall is not the best time to sell a motorcycle.
I'd like to say that I am all packed & ready for vacation but that would be a serious fib. LOL
