Mid-day quickie

Today I took an allergy pill instead of cold medicine for the puny-ness ... not sure if I notice much difference. I just want the funk to be gone!
Seems my PowerPoint project has grown hugely in scope but at least the big boss likes what I have done so far. Now if I can just remember some PowerPoint stuff to help create a great presentation. I can't even remember how to set the master slide deal so I can re-use it as a template. I know it's simple but my mind is a blank. Of course I am already 20 slides in to the presentation already!
Good thing I am supposed to be focusing on my purchasing duties & not that silly marketing stuff! LOL
We got socked with a huge personal property tax bill this year. After living in VA since 1992, I still get outraged how they make you pay taxes when you buy a vehicle & then screw you every year there after with more taxes. Between the 2 of us, we will be forking over $1,000 in taxes for the 3 vehicles. Plus my SUV needs tires & the bike is still in the shop. Goddess only knows what THAT bill is going to look like.
Well, dang, now I have to think happy thoughts after getting all riled up over the personal property tax thing again!
Brian & I have started doing some research on getting a big screen TV for our living room ... all thanks to Mom. Seems that the debate between plasma vs LCD has gotten awfully close in the past year or so. I think we will have to go watch some TV at a few shops before we start looking seriously. All we do is watch movies but it would be very nice to enjoy them in style on an electronic device made in this decade.
