Fruitdreams

Brian woke me up this morning & let me know that Tango had died during the night.  Our little fuzzy fruitdreamer is gone.

Well, I guess he'd not been fuzzy for a few weeks now, but hopefully once he he reaches his final destination he will have hair & all the treats he wants.

Brian is going to bury him near our fig tree ... a fitting place for one who dreams of fruit.

Thanks to 1painter42 we have a portrait of Tango romping in the fall leaves to serve as a wonderful memory.

Road trip

The general manager came to me this morning & asked what my schedule looked like for the next two days. Kinda of busy, I told him, but I asked what he needed, being that he is the GM & all. Seems his schedule had gotten a little too crazy to be able to comfortably go to a job fair at VA Tech that CFC had signed up for. I knew about the job fair, because I handled the registration & making our booth materials.

My two main concerns are that I need to work on my sales flyer in a big way & the ex & I had planned on a special Valentine's Day dinner at home. On the menu? Chicken Saltimbocca & other assorted fun foods. The GM said that if I was going to be cooking Chicken Saltimbocca for him, he wouldn't let me go!

The ex is urging me to go in order to gain favor with the GM; I am worried about my obligations & subsequent fallout if they are not met with the sales flyer & some of my other projects. Plus, I really do not want to go alone; the ex is not real thrilled about that part either - especially after the Las Vegas trip.
