Spring has sprung
March 22nd, 2008 10:41 pmThe Spring Solstice has passed, my daffodils are blooming throughout the yard & the weather is typical spring - some warmer days, some cooler days.
The ex's VTX is still in the shop & he is an absolute miserable creature. Miserable in general & miserable towards everyone else it seems.
Tucker had a peeing incident in the house ... while he seems to understand the crate concept, he gave no warning before letting loose in the house.
Watching Tucker & Cooper play can be a real hoot. For now, Tucker is living in Cooper's crate & Cooper is living in a smaller one from Mom. Cooper knows to go into his [smaller] crate to have a safe haven. Tucker, however, think it's really fun to go visit Cooper ... in the smaller crate. He has to duck to get into it & I fear he will get stuck in it one of these times.
While goofing off yesterday playing EverQuest, I managed to put tags on all my LJ entries from 2005. I'm not sure how useful this will ever be, but I told the ex that when I am senile, he can check to see how many times I mentioned him.
With the financing for the VTX & the addition of Tucker to our household, I decided to do a little spring cleaning & put some large items for sale - including my 1982 Kawasaki 440 LTD. Since it had been sitting idle for about 10 years or so (the last year outside) & the ex had taken it apart a little to see if it would run (it will), I listed the bike for $100.
Wow - we got a lot of phone calls on the old bike. One guy, who called a few times, was going to come out on Friday evening to buy it, but on Thursday, the ex talked with a guy who was adamant about buying it. So much so, that when Brian told the guy that he would deliver the bike for $125 - on top of the $100 asking price - the guy said yes!
