Class of '08
June 14th, 2008 07:17 pmToday's was The ex's oldest nephew's high school graduation. The ceremony was held in the middle of the Sahara desert of VA - aka Culpeper County High School's football field. The only bathrooms & water concession was on the far side of the field, approximately 4 miles from where we needed to be (or a place with any semblance of shade).
We're not sure why but said-nephew did not wear his mortarboard while he was on stage. No, we didn't ask why. Maybe one day.
The party afterwards was a nice one & we got to visit with some of the ex's family.
The ex's sister had gone through their mother's photos & divided them up, so we had a box to take home with all sorts of interesting photos from the ex's past. There are some real gems of my tall (ex)husband sporting all sorts of weird clothing, hair on the top of his head & chest hair that is black.
::: giggle :::
