A cool Sunday morning was a nice break from the hot weather we have been having for several days. Sadly, we had to shut the house down by 9 am, but even a few hours of running the house fan helps air out the house.
Yesterday we went on a motorcycle ride with a few CFC folks. We rode out to the Rappahannock store for a quick visit, then ended up at the Lignum Ruritan shrimp dinner to stuff ourselves with steamed shrimp. (Mission accomplished!)
This morning finds me doing housework & some cooking while we wait for Brian's Uncle to come and check out the shower he installed for us. It has been leaking into the basement for quite some time & Brian FINALLY said something about it. It's been fixed once already. His Uncle typically does top-notch work so we are all sort of puzzled at why this continues to be an issue. I just want it fixed so that my upstairs shower does not become a downstairs shower!
