Monday again

The ex called last night ... sounds like he & his buddy are having fun (there's that word again!) on the New River. The ex caught a 2-foot long pike yesterday & a nice bass the day before. He's due to come home on Tuesday.
It's been hot & muggy lately; summer's last fling (I hope). The bugs have been brutal so I have not been spending much time outside. The horseflies are wicked lately for some reason in addition to the mosquitoes, so it seems something is always attacking me when I walk Tucker or try to do anything outdoors. They better scram by hunting season!
Seems that I have fallen off the walking bandwagon again ... just checked my calendar & it has been over 2 weeks since I last did any walking.
I think that's all the news that is fit to print!
