Satisfying Sunday
February 1st, 2009 03:04 pmThis morning my (ex)husband turned to me & asked me out to lunch. What a very nice surprise! We went to a local restaurant - Clearwater Grill & had their brunch buffet. (Another nice surprise was that the buffet price has come down since the last time we were there!)
It was really nice to get out of the house for a change & the company was enjoyable too.
When we got back to the house, I really wanted to take Tucker for a nice long walk since the weather here is in the 50's today & wonderfully sunny. I asked the ex to come with me, expecting him to say no, but he came with us! The three of us had a great walk & hopefully we walked off some of that big lunch we enjoyed. Tucker thoroughly enjoyed himself - finding lots of sticks to chase (some were tree limbs), snowballs to catch (with what little snow was left) & several romps in the small runs that criss-crossed our path.
