We had a nice weekend getting to visit with lots of friends & family. Art & Kathleen from NJ came down in their RV for the whole weekend. They made great traveling time & arrived before midnight on Friday night.
Saturday found us enjoying a big breakfast & then we went to the movies ... with a twist. Art, Kathleen & I went to see the new Night at the Museum movie while Brian, his brother & the nephews went to the see the new Terminator flick. We made pizzas for dinner & then watched another movie - Bandidas, a lady bank robber movie of all things.
Sunday found us enjoying breakfast burritos in the morning & then we had to get ready for our BBQ.
1painter42 & her hubby came over, Brian's brother & the boys, AND Mom & Wilma (plus 2 ferrets & the newest rescue dog, Lilly). Everyone had a grand time, even if Brian burnt stuff on the grill. (Thanks to Art for saving the ribs!) I made my first-ever coconut custard pies (they came out yummmmy) & we had enough food leftover for days. Tucker & Lilly not only had a great time playing with each other but gave us lots of giggles in the process. You know another movie capped off our night!
Monday's breakfast was pancakes fixed by Brian (he makes them better then I do). It was all too soon before we had to kick Art & Kathleen out so they could begin the journey home.
