Tucker's Road Trip
August 30th, 2009 04:46 pmNot quite as exciting as it sounds, but any chance for Tucker to take a ride in the SUV makes for a bundle of happy Tucker.
Brian & I drove to his Uncle Jack's to pick some beans. Jack plants a good-sized garden every year & it seems the vegetables take turns giving him bumper crops. One year it was cabbage, tomatoes the next & so on. This year the flat beans are taking their turn. While Brian & Jack did all the work, I walked Tucker around & stood in the shade.
Next stop was Mom's house so that we could share some beans with her as well as deliver some of her beef from the Angus we bought. Jack also had the yummiest sweet yellow cherry tomatoes ripe to pick & we left some of those with Mom as well.
Tucker got to play with Lilly the Weimaraner while Brian had fun feeding the four Bearded Dragons. I managed to sneak in a little ferret play time before it was time to go.
We both got sleepy on the drove home so once we unloaded the Endeavor we took a nap!
