Woo Tindy

Today is the last day of the regular whitetail season here in Virginia and it is far to windy this morning to go out. 20 degrees is also a bit of a deterrent.

Looking back over the season, there were a lot of Saturdays that were just poor hunting days due to yucky weather. Thankfully I hunted a lot in the warmer weather and during week.

New nickname?

Stopped at the store to pick up a few things on my way to Mom's for lunch today and was sporting my spiffy new hat that dreamtigress got for me from www.pawstar.com/.  My sis had "warned" me that I would get lots of smiles (which I do) but she did not prepare me for a new nickname...

As I walking, I passed a little girl - maybe 2 or 3 years old - I heard her say "dog!" is this cute little voice. I turned and smiled at her since I had a feeling that she had seen the hat. Her face lit up and in the same cute little voice says "girl dog!".

All I can say is  ... "woof".
