Some progress!
March 30th, 2010 11:38 pmMy house now has 1.5 deadbolts installed! After talking with the folks at Irwin (manufacturers of the installation kit) I learned the secret to changing the mandrel for the smaller saw. It seems they have left out a step or two from the directions since the gal who answered the phone knew exactly what the problems was and how to help me.
The front door deadbolt is completely installed and working fine. The kitchen door has the deadbolt installed, now I just need to drill the frame hole and install the striker plate. Tomorrow is another day. Good thing I don't do this for a living.
Speaking of what I do for a living, no businesses seem to need marketing services anymore. Patriot Harley Davidson let me know that they have hired someone (not me). These days that sort of notification is extremely rare.
Duchess is still in season and I am so ready for her to go! The dogs had a nice round of fetch with tennis balls with both pups being very good on the fetch and drop part.
Speaking of dog stuff, I started clearing out the dog run so that they can spend some outside time with me instead of looking all sad through a window at me. I really need a hatchet to chop away at roots and stuff. Seems like every girl should have one. LOL
Treadmill = zero (walked with the dogs though)
No word on the settlement agreement yet, however the ex and I spoke on the phone this evening and he told me he has not heard from his lawyer. My attorney mailed it a week and a half ago! The ex also informed me that he would not signed any of mortgage paperwork until the agreement is signed. Frustrating but sadly predictable.
