April 17th, 2010 11:19 pmFor some reason I was wide awake at 5 am this morning. After taking care of the dogs and getting some breakfast, I puttered about doing some odd jobs like going through a junk drawer, fixing the front on said junk drawer, taking care of some pictures, etc.
Of course by 9 am I was ready for a wee nap.
Since I was going a bit buggy to get out of the house, I went by Mom's to visit her and get some quality puppy time with the Am. Staff puppies she is fostering. They are naturally SO cute! One little male is way ahead of the others with being agile already. The little female will bark occasionally. One male seems to be pretty laid back. The fourth pup is a huge male who is darn near double the size of the others! His neck is wider than his head. He is also lighter in color.
The best part is ... PUPPY BREATH!
More 'best parts' included having a nice lunch with Mom, getting some fireplace tools, and helping Mom a wee bit.
Speaking of pups, Tucker and Duchess are still recovering from their run in with kennel cough. They are doing very little coughing now but are still a bit congested. Duchess seems to have been hit worse than Tucker. Both dogs got spiffy new purple heart tags today.
No word from my attorney on anything yet. Hopefully she gets the separation agreement in from the other lawyer soon.
