On time? Not a chance
May 14th, 2010 07:23 pmWhile checking in on my friend's flight due this evening at National, I find it highly amusing to learn that flight is listed as "on time" until 20 minutes after it was supposed to take off! As I type this post, the plan should be landing, but has not even taken off yet.
What sort of business can you continually perform in this manner and stay in business?
Oh well, I am at the office getting some things done and what not, so no big deal really. It's just annoying to me, as I am sure it is to my friend who is sitting in the plane that is not taking off.
This evening (while working late) I committed to Kim that I would take on the role of "production manager" (although we may not end up calling me that). While the commute can be yucky, I need to take full ownership of the this role so that I can meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
Treadmill = zero (I know, I have fallen off and cannot seem to get back on)
I'm so very jazzed that I will get to visit with my friend AND get to go to VARF with he and my sister tomorrow. YAY
Thanks (AGAIN) to Mom for stopping by the house to let the dogs out for me since I will not get home until very late tonight.
